MAOBAO is a Asian kitchen concept at Nørrebro that serves Reasonably authentic food at the restaurant Sidecar Nørrebro.
The founders of Maobao wanted to bring in the kitschy-ness of Asian cuisine and culture. They didn’t have any design guides or materials besides their catchy name and bold logo.

I wanted to translate beautiful Hong Kong by night onto the website to embrace the vibrant and colorful elements you see there such as neon lights and paper lanterns en masse.
